Malaikah releases new single featuring Flint Bedrock
‘Let You Go’ is a RnB/Pop song with afro beats and dancehall flavours. The song encourages women not to settle for less than what they deserve in relationships particularly within certain cultures where women have no voice and are practically trapped in marriage due to religious and cultural beliefs. The single challenges women to find their voice and be free of abusive relationships.
Produced by UK number 1 producer Rymez.
new single - (falling for you)
Directed by Tawanda Sibotshiwe ( Jusa Dementor) in association with Stage Works Films.
"Falling for you" is an afobeats inspired pop song with a dancehall feel, the saucy song challenges gender stereotypes encouraging women to go after what they want, in this context a man, instead of always waiting for the guy to make the first move. Talking about what inspired her to write the song Malaika says far too many women are unfulfilled and unhappy in relationships because they don't feel they can express themselves sexually or communicate their desires without running the risk of being labelled "wild" or accused of cheating.
Produced by UK #1 producer RYMEZ (Wiley - Heatwave.)
